CbTF – Change in Entrepreneurial Action

Establishment of the research group „Competence-based Theory of the Firm“ (CbTF), which was developed in 2004 as a sub-group of the internationally active „Competence-based Management“ (CBM) school of thought. The CbTF research group documents its advances and insights continuously in the form of progress reports, conference contributions and articles in national and international journals. The goal of the group is the re-conceptualization of the reigning heterogenic streams of research in the context of resource and competence based research. The anticipated objective is the development of a research concept with the working title „Competence-based Theory of the Firm (CbTF)“, intended as the theoretical frame of reference for Management as well as Business Administration studies in the context of established market process theories.
