Together with his colleagues from the Ludwig Maximilians University, Munich, Prof. Bresser won tow Best Paper Awards at the 2011 Southern Management Association Conference. The paper entitled "Social Capital and CEO dismissals: Evidence from Germany" was initially selected as "Best paper in Track" for the Strategy/Organization Theory/International Management track. Subsequently, it was chosen as the "Best Overall Conference Paper" at the 2011 SMA Conference.
