Nomination for Green Transportation Award at TRISTAN 2016 Conference

Prof. Dr. Jan Fabian Ehmke and his co-authors Prof. Ann Campbell and Prof. Barrett Thomas from the University of Iowa were nominated for the Green Transportation Award at the 2016 edition of the TRISTAN Conference. The presentation entitled "Fleet Routing for Emissions in Urban Areas" discussed efficient and sustainable delivery of goods for metropolitean areas. This work investigates different cost objectives and analyses potentially additional costs that arise when logistics companies aim at being environmental friendly.

fme-Preis 2011 at TU Braunschweig

Every year, the Department of Business Administration at Technische Universität Braunschweig awards the fme prize for distinguished thesises in the field of business administration. Jan Ehmke was awarded the fme prize due to his outstanding dissertation entitled "Integration of information and optimization models for routing in city logistics".

Outstanding Paper Award of 7th International Conference on City Logistics (2011)

In June 2011, Jan Ehmke was awarded the outstanding paper award on the 7th International Conference on City Logistics for his conference paper on "Vehicle Routing for Attended Home Delivery in City Logistics".
