External Funding Situation
Here you can find a compilation of the amount of external financing for projects within the Department of Economics at the FU Berlin. Third-party financing is funding that does not come from state money made available by the responsible ministry for higher education, and that is raised by the teachers of a department for particular research projects. The foremost large external providers of funding are the German Research Foundation (DFG) and other foundations, but funding is also received from businesses in the private sector.
