Deutsche Bundesbank Foundation
The chair of the visiting professorship Deutsche Bundesbank at the Department of Economics was established by a Foundation of the Deutsche Bundesbank in 1987.
The Chair supported by the Foundation is held, on an annual or semester basis, by internationally well-known academics in the fields of monetary theory and policy and international finance.
The current Bundesbank professor is Prof. Dr. Helmut Lütkepohl.
This summer term 2013 the Bundesbank Foundations guest Professors are going to be Prof. Dirk Krüger Ph.D. (University of Pennsylvania) and Prof. Harald Uhlig Ph.D. (University of Chicago). They will hold a course in Monetary and Fiscal Policy.
