Report on Chemistry Startup Ecosystem with UN Environment

UN Environment published the final report of "Advancing entrepreneurship and start-up initiatives for sustainable chemistry: Learning from case studies". Professor Rothe shared his insights in the Chemistry Startup Ecosystem. Additionally, he moderated large parts of the one-day workshop together with Paul Hohnen (Sustainable Strategies), Achim Halpaap, Jost Dittkrist (both UN Environment) and Petra Schwager (UN Industrial Development Organization).

More than 30 international entrepreneurs and experts from shared their vision for an agenda towards sustainable chemistry. For this purpose, fourteen successful cases from the all over the world were invited to Berlin on September 14th, 2017.

The workshop was organized by UN Environment and the International Sustainable Chemistry Collaborative Center (ISC3), in partnership with the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR), and Freie University Berlin (FU Berlin).
