We are pleased to announce that the Special Issue on "Field-Configuring Events: Arenas for Innovation and Learning?" edited by Elke Schüßler, Gernot Grabher and Gordon Müller-Seitz is now out at Industry & Innovation. This Issue is one of the outputs generated by the Scientific Network "Field-Configuring Events: Time, Space and Relations" and comprises four papers and an editorial. The papers shed light on different modes of learning and knowledge exchange that generate innovation at field-configuring events, on the types of innovation and learning outcomes that can emerge from field-configuring events, and on the sites at which innovation and learning takes place in relation to field-configuring events. They span a wide range of empirical contexts, ranging from the Annecy animation film festival in France over civic events in the city of Milan to sustainable energy conferences in Finland and the 2012 Olympic Games in London.
