WiSe 2018/19: Seminar zur Ungleichheitsmessung (Measuring Inequality)

Dozent/inProf. Carsten Schröder

Starting Oct. 15, Monday, 10-12 am, Kaminzimmer, Boltzmannstr. 16-20

The aim of the seminar is to introduce you to studying economic inequalities with house-hold-survey data. The Socio-Economic Panel (SOEP) will serve as our database to re-do recent studies from countries around the world for Germany. Because SOEP offers a broad range of topics for conducting empirical research, attending the course might be an asset for anyone who is eager to write an empirical master thesis. We use STATA – available in FU’s PC pool – for all empirical analyses
