ELIXIR - an intergovernmental research infrastructure provider for bio and health data - celebrated its 5th anniversary in Brussels. They invited Professor Rothe to chair a panel session about Value creation with bio data. He was accompanied by founders and managers from large corporations: Liz Reynolds (GENERAL BIOINFORMATICS LIMITED) , Catherine Sirven (Bayer Crop Science), Filip Pattyn (ONTOFORCE), and Herman van Vlijmen (The Janssen Pharmaceutical Companies of Johnson & Johnson).

Following the invitation of the Postdocs-to-Innovators Network (P2I), six scientists and two members of the Digital Entrepreneurship Hub went to Cambridge and Glasgow. They participated in the Venture Creation Weekend on Genomics and the Enterprise Fair on Biotech. The team of the Digital Entrepreneurship Hub were part of the winning teams at both events.
