Studien und Forschungsprogramm für Master und Ph.D. Studierende
News vom 28.02.2020
The Regional Academy on the United Nations (RAUN) is
an international, multidisciplinary education initiative that brings together United Nations'
Organizations and outstanding Master and PhD students. As part of the seven-month-long
program, students get the opportunity to conduct hands-on research projects for the
Agencies and to attend lectures and interactive workshops in different countries given by
experts and practitioners.
RAUN’s aim is to provide participants with in-depth knowledge and resources about
internal organizations and their functions, to raise their cultural awareness and openness,
and to offer a forum for networking and academic exchange.
Currently, RAUN calls for applications for the 2020-2021 RAUN academic year.
The program will start in May this year and will deal with the theme: “Partnership and Cooperation for
the Future: 75 years of UN Action”.
The deadline for applications is 3 April 2020.
RAUN is a non-profit organization operated entirely by volunteers.
The service charge is 150 EUR.
There are no additional fees. Scholarships are offered to those students who are otherwise not able
to finance their participation.
You can find more information about the program on the RAUN website or Facebook.
Besides, we have created two video clips for a first impression of the program:
