Dr. Blagoy Blagoev receives the Ernst Reuter Prize 2016

Dr. Blagoy Blagoev has received the renowned Ernst Reuter Prize for his doctoral thesis “A Locked-In Working Time Regime? A Path-Theoretical Investigation of The Persistence of Extra-Long Working Hours in a Management Consulting Firm”. Every year since 1985, the Ernst Reuter Prize has been awarded to the four or five best doctoral dissertations at Freie Universität. The last time a Business Administration dissertation won the prize was in 1992. Dr. Blagoy Blagoev (29) studied Business Administration (B.Sc.) and Management & Marketing (M.Sc.) at Freie Universität Berlin and the University of Illinois, USA. In 2015, he received his doctoral degree at the DFG (German Research Foundation) Graduate School “Research on Organizational Paths” at the School of Business and Economics at Freie Universität. Currently, Dr. Blagoev continues his research on extra-long hours regimes as a post-doc researcher at the professorship Schreyögg within a two-year project funded by the German Research Foundation.
