FU promotes market development: Partnership with a Charité start-up for a digital solution for adolescents with ADHD
News from Apr 21, 2026
RecoveryYoung is a cooperation between the digital health start-up Recovery Cat and researchers in Information Systems and Business Administration at Freie Universität Berlin. The project comprises the technical, organizational, and regulatory advancement of a digital health app as well as the conceptual development of its market entry.
The focus lies on developing a business model for cross-sector collaboration between private and public institutions in the care of adolescents with ADHD. In addition, patient-related and social outcomes are being evaluated. The app supports adolescents with ADHD in the individualized self-management of therapies and medication and is intended to help improve their quality of life. Furthermore, the digital collaboration approach creates an innovative organizational concept in the physician–patient relationship and, for the first time, also integrates family members and additional stakeholders (e.g. social service providers).
