Taxation, Behavior and Distribution

A conference on the Taxation, Household Behavior, and the Distribution of Incomes and Wealth will be held in Berlin on July 16th and 17th, 2015. We welcome submissions on tax effects on labor supply, household savings, and portfolio choice as well as on the distribution of incomes and wealth. The welfare effects of taxation and social insurance are also of interest. Emphasis will be on empirically oriented research, but applied theoretical research is also welcome.

The conference is organized by Giacomo Corneo, Viktor Steiner and Charlotte Bartels as a supporting event of the Ph.D.-program on “Public Economics and Inequality” of the Free University of Berlin and Hans-Böckler-Foundation. The conference venue is on the beautiful Berlin Island of Schwanenwerder. It will start at 2 p.m. on July 16th and end at about 6 p.m. on the day after.
