Our seventh annual BeWell meeting took place on February 26 and 27, 2026, in Halle (Saale). It was co-organised by Christoph Wunder (Martin-Luther-University Halle-Wittenberg) and Antje Jantsch (Leibniz Institute of Agricultural Development in Transition Economies – IAMO). The meeting featured a lively panel discussion on the future of well-being research with Leonie Steckermeier (RPTU Kaiserslautern-Landau), Ronnie Schöb (Freie Unitversität Berlin), Martijn Burger (Erasmus University Rotterdam) and Gundi Knies (Thünen institute Braunschweig). Over two days, a number of high-quality research projects were presented by our various members from the fields of  psychology, sociology and economics. For the first time, BeWell 2026 featured a poster session which was particularly well received.
