Max Diegel is a Ph.D. candidate in Economics at Freie Universität (FU) Berlin and at the German Institute of Economic Research (DIW Berlin) Graduate Center. In June 2018 he joined the research project "The Anchoring of Inflation Expectations" at the chair of Econometrics.
He holds an M.Sc in Economics from FU Berlin. During his studies, Max worked as a research and teaching assistant at the chair of econometrics. He also studied at Université Pierre Mendès-France (UPMF) in Grenoble and took part in the Open Source Macroeconomics Laboratory (OSM Lab) computational boot camp at the University of Chicago in Summer 2017 as student researcher.
His research interests include macroeconomics, macro-financial linkages, applied econometrics and monetary policy.
