Behavioral Public Economics Workshop
June 12, 2026 – Hertie School
We are excited to announce an upcoming one-day workshop aimed at fostering exchange at the intersection of behavioral and public economics.
The workshop will bring together Berlin School of Economics researchers studying policy-relevant questions in behavioral public economics, public finance, labor, and behavioral public policy more broadly. The workshop will include a keynote lecture by Naomi Feldman (Hebrew University).
We encourage BSoE members – PhD students, postdocs, as well as junior and senior faculty – to present their research. Both advanced projects but also work-in-progress at an early stage is very welcome.
The objective is to engage in constructive exchange and to collect feedback from BSoE peers.
Submission Guidelines: All interested participants are invited to submit presentation proposals (full papers, preliminary papers, or extended abstracts) via e-mail to Katharina P. Adam by March 31, 2026.
Notifications of acceptance will be communicated around April 15.
In case of questions please reach out to the organizers. Renke Schmacker (DIW & WZB) & Christian Traxler (Hertie School)
