Voraussetzungen

The course “Statistical Analysis of Incomplete Data” in the “Topics in Statistical Methods” module is offered in cooperation with the University of Bamberg.

Here are some important notes for participation:

Students must set up an account on their own in advance on the University of Bamberg's Virtual Campus at https://vc.uni-bamberg.de/

Help is available here: https://vc.uni-bamberg.de/moodle/mod/page/view.php?id=27
On October 8, the Virtual Campus course will go live, and students must enroll in it before the start of the course. This requires an enrollment password, which Bamberg will email to the Berlin and Trier offices around noon on October 8.

The course will be offered via Zoom, meaning participants from Berlin can join remotely and do not have to be in a supervised video conference room.

Learning Objectives:
Students will acquire methodological knowledge of selected topics in current statistical
research. They will be able to independently address selected research questions using various
approaches and methodologies, understand the relevant statistical methods and models, and be able to formulate them mathematically, analyze them, and apply them to economic problems.
