Andranik Tumasjan is a postdoctoral scholar (Habilitand) at the Technical University of Munich, where he also received a doctoral degree in management. As a fellow of the Krupp Foundation’s China Scholarship Program, he studied at Nanjing University (China) and was a postdoctoral visiting scholar at Columbia University, New York and the University of California, Los Angeles. His research focuses on entrepreneurial, innovative, and proactive behavior in and of organizations as well as the organizational context and instruments to foster such behaviors. In this vein, he also investigates the implications of the digital transformation for management (e.g., digital social networks). His work has received several awards, e.g., Best Paper Awards from the Academy of Management (AOM) and the German Academic Association for Business Research (VHB).
