Tobias Broer is currently professor in macroeconomics at the Paris School of Economics. He works in quantitative macroeconomics with a focus on heterogeneous agents, consumption-risk sharing, and expectation formation. His current work looks at the role of idiosyncratic risk and incomplete markets for the effects of monetary and fiscal policy, at heterogeneous expectations in macroeconomic models, and the interplay of precautionary savings and labor-market dynamics in the transmission of shocks and for the effectiveness of fiscal policies.
