Our research focuses on the analysis of aggregate economic relationships. We aim to understand what determines income and unemployment and how economic policy influences these quantities. To do so, we apply quantitative macroeconomic models and empirical methods based on aggregate time series, individual, household and firm data.

Our projects investigate among other things fiscal and monetary policy, short-time work, labor market reforms and exchange rates.
