We encourage students to study abroad or at other universities within Germany. Under specific conditions, modules taken at other universities can be recognized as credits for your studies at Freie Universität Berlin. If you wish to substitute one or more modules offered by our chair with modules from other universities, please provide the following information:

1. A list of corresponding modules from our chair and the modules from the other university that you want to substitute
2. A syllabus (including information on content, examination and credit points) for each module that you would like us to consider

After a brief review, we will provide a binding decision on which modules will be recognized. Please note that you cannot replace modules that you have already passed.
