Ahmet Taskin, Ph.D.

Ahmet Ali Taskin has a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Texas at Austin. He has previously worked as an economist at the Central Bank of The Republic of Turkey and as a postdoctoral researcher at Ulm University. He is currently a postdoctoral researcher at the Free University Berlin. He is also a senior researcher at the Institute for Employment Research (IAB). Dr. Taskin’s research focuses on banking, household finance, labor economics, and housing. He has works in the intersection of financial markets and housing/labor markets both from the point of firms and households.
