Werner H. Engelhardt), doctoral thesis on the subject of “Cross-linked Relationships”. 1997-1999: Work experience as the leader of diverse international development projects with the Tengelmann Group, one of the biggest European retailers. 2000-2006: Founder and head of the Competence-Center E-Commerce and habilitation on “Flexibility Traps” at the Ruhr-University of Bochum. Received venia legendi for “Business Administration” and “Business Informatics”. 2007: Full professor of Business Administration and head of Competence Center E-Commerce at the Freie Universität Berlin. Guest professor at the University of New South Wales in Sydney (Australia) in 2003, as well as multiple university teaching positions at the universities of Duesseldorf, Cologne and Berlin.
