Assistant Professor of Human Resource Management focused on Diversity at the Freie Universität BerlinVitae: Vocational studies and occupation in the hotel business. Academic studies in Business Administration and Economics, Spanish and Pedagogy at the Freie Universität Berlin and at the Universidad Carlos III, Madrid. From 2001 to 2006 research assistant and lecturer at the Institute of Management, Freie Universität Berlin; earned her doctorate in Business Administration in 2006 (dissertation on „management and emotions“ published in 2007). Since 2007 assistant professor at the Institute of Management. Further publications in journals such as “Managementforschung” and “Human Relations”, co-author and co-editor of a volume on “Diversity Studies” (2007, Campus), co-editor of a series on Human Resource Management textbooks.
Research interests: Diversity & Human Resource Management, with a special focus on cultural diversity; emotion in organizations; critical perspectives on management fashion, esp. emotional intelligence; service work.
