Gastprofessorin im Wintersemester 2022/23

Dr. Kirstin Hubrich holds the Deutsche Bundesbank Guest Professorship in winter semester 2022/23. She will teach the Master course "Topics in Empirical Macroeconomics, Monetary Policy and Macro-Finance".

Kirstin Hubrich, Program Direction of Research and Statistics, Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System. Prior to the current assignment Kirstin was Chief of the Prices and Wages Section in the Research and Statistics Division. She joined the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System as a Principal Economist in the Division Research and Statistics, in 2015, and prior to that appointment has held various positions at the European Central Bank (ECB) in the Research Department and the Monetary Policy Department, as well as the Dutch Central Bank. She received her Ph.D. from Humboldt University Berlin, where she was also Research Associate at the National Research Center ‘Quantification and Simulation of Economic Processes’. She has published in leading international journals and has served as a guest editor for the Journal of Applied Econometrics. She has been a Lecturer of undergraduate and graduate courses at Goethe University Frankfurt, Germany. She served as a member of the Scientific Committee of the Euro Area Business Cycle Network (EABCN), and organized the scientific program of numerous international academic conferences.
