Denise is a Research Assistant and PhD student at the Chair of Empirical Economics and Gender and the Berlin School of Economics. She is supervised by Natalia Danzer, PhD, and Dr. Katharina Wrohlich, and is affiliated with the DFG-funded project “Gender Norms and Labor Market Outcomes.”
She holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Business Administration from Goethe University Frankfurt am Main and a master’s degree in Public Economics from Freie Universität Berlin. During her studies, she worked at the Gender Economics Department of the German Institute for Economic Research (DIW Berlin). Part of her research experience was also gained at the Swedish Institute for Social Research (SOFI) at Stockholm University.
