Andreas Koundouros is a Ph.D. candidate in Economics at Freie Universität Berlin (FU) and the Berlin School of Economics (BSoE) since October 2023. His research interests lie in macroeconomics, monetary policy and inflation in particular, as well as time series econometrics.
Andreas holds a M.Sc. in Economics from Universität Bonn and a B.Sc. in Economics from FU Berlin. During his studies at FU, he worked as a student assistant at the Chair of Econometrics, assisting with the teaching of undergraduate mathematics and econometrics courses. After completing the Ph.D. coursework at BSoE, in January 2025, he joined the Chair as a graduate research assistant for the DFG research project on the determinants of inflation target credibility.
