The Standing Committee for Political Economy (Ausschuss für Politische Ökonomie) of the German Economic Association (Verein für Socialpolitik) is pleased to announce its inaugural workshop, to be held on March 26–27, 2026, at the Free University Berlin.

The two-day workshop brings together researchers working on various aspects of political economy. Theoretical, experimental, and empirical contributions are welcome. Researchers are invited to submit full papers. Each accepted paper will be allocated a 45-minute presentation slot followed by 15 minutes of discussion.

A poster session will also be organized. PhD students and early career-researchers are particularly encouraged to submit papers for the poster session.

Please submit your paper to lennart.jarmolinski@fu-berlin.de by January 23, 2026. Notification of acceptance will be sent by February 8, 2026.

This workshop is open for participation of non-members of the Standing Field Committees.
