Prof. Dr. Gunnar Mau is the Chair of Applied Psychology at the DHGS German University of Health and Sports in Berlin. At the same time, he serves as Vice President for Research and Teaching at this university. The trained psychologist received his doctorate from the Faculty of Economics at the University of Göttingen on the topic 'Emotions during Shopping in Online Stores' and holds a Venia Legendi for the field of Business Administration. He has conducted research and taught at various universities on topics related to consumer and retail psychology. Additionally, he was one of the founders of a market research company in 2008 and remains a member of the Scientific Advisory Boards of several consulting agencies and associations.
