Alessia Nowak is an Information Systems researcher and research associate in the working group Data Ecosystems and Care Analytics as well as Clinical Implementation Science in Digital Health at the institute of medical informatics at Charité Berlin. Furthermore, she is a guest lecturer at Free University Berlin at the Chair Fürstenau. In these areas she contributes to the BMBF-funded projects KIP-SDM and ProKIP and researches participatory approaches to the implementation of digital technologies in healthcare. She completed a bachelor's program in Information-oriented Business Administration at University of Augsburg as well as a master’s program in Information Systems at Free University Berlin and Chinese University of Hong Kong. Previously, as a project manager at an EdTech start-up, she gained experience in developing workshops and online-courses about digital transformation for employee retraining and further training. The focus of her doctorate is on the evaluation of end-user participation in the development and implementation of data-driven technologies.
