Qualification goals
The students are familiar with current business research results from the specialization area "Business Information Systems" and can critically examine and appreciate them. This prepares them in a special way in terms of content and method for a bachelor thesis that emerges from this field of specialization.

Contents
Literature research, formal preparation of a scientific paper, planning of the project including the search for a topic, methodology of processing in the preparation of a logical-deductive, analytical, or empirical scientific paper, justification for the choice of a particular research design, relationship between theory and empiricism, presentation of selected research results together with critical appraisal.

Prerequisites
Completion of the module "Introduction to Information Systems
Completion of the module "Decision Support Systems" recommended
Experience in software development or completion of the module "Programming for Economists" recommended
