The Center for International Cooperation at Freie Universität Berlin will support the international cooperation project "A just transition for autoworkers? E-mobility and restructuring in transatlantic comparison" for the winter semester 2022/23. We will cooperate with researchers from Cornell University, USA (Ian Greer, Virginia Doellgast and Art Wheaton) and Laval University, Canada (Mathieu Dupuis). We are investigating the effects of the shift to e-mobility for work and employment in the automotive industry, as well as ideas surrounding justice and fairness during the change process in an international comparison. Our research methods are interviews and observation.
