News vom 21.09.2017

The 24th Americas Conference on Information Systems (AMCIS) will be held in New Orleans, Louisiana from August 16th until August 18th 2018. Conducted under the auspices of the prestigious Association for Information Systems (AIS), AMCIS is one of the leading global conferences in research on information systems.

We are proud to announce that Lauri Wessel will be co-chairing the AMCIS track "Organizational Transformation & Information Systems" that is sponsored by the AIS' special interest group "Organizational Systems Research Association" (SIGOSRA). Lauri Wessel is teaming up with colleagues Prof. Dr. Paul Drews (Leuphana University Lüneburg) and Prof. Dr. Frank Ulbrich (University of the Fraser Valley). This engagement builds on the successful minitrack "Digital Service Innovation Across Boundaries" that was held together Jens Poeppelbuss (Ruhr University Bochum) and Lars-Olof Johansson (University of Halmstad, Sweden) at AMCIS 2017.

As track chairs, we are now calling for minitrack proposals. At AMCIS, tracks are organized into minitracks representing contemporary topics that matter for understanding and designing organizational information systems. Minitrack proposal should be submitted to AMCIS's submission system until October 18th 2017. The full call for minitracks can be found here.
