Prof. Dr. Elke Schüßler is Full Professor of Business Administration and Head of the Institute of Organization and Global Management Education at Johannes Kepler University Linz (Austria). She has a strong interest in macro-organizational theory and questions of organizational change, creativity and path dependence. Her work is published in leading management journals such as the Academy of Management Journal, Industrial & Corporate Change or Industrial & Labor Relations Review. Her current research revolves around the governance of global production networks and the role of field-configuring events for institutional change. She was recently awarded the AMJ Best Article Award for her work on UN climate conferences.

Dr. Nora Lohmeyer is a postdoctoral researcher at the Management Department at Freie Universität Berlin and assists in the coordination of the Garment Supply Chain Governance Project. Her research interests are the politics of corporate social responsibility, the privatization of regulation as well as the governance of global production networks. She studies these phenomena taking a discoursetheoretical and -analytical as well as a path dependence perspective. In this project she will study German garment retail firms and the national institutional context of the garment industry in Germany.
