Project 3: Educational interventions

We investigate the effects of three educational interventions on educational and labour market outcomes.

First, we examine a policy that shortens high school duration by one year, potentially increasing labour supply and affecting skill mismatch.

Second, we evaluate a randomised controlled trial (RCT) providing e-readers to enhance literacy skills.

Third, we assess an RCT offering audio-books to improve reading abilities.

We quantify these interventions’ impacts on reading skills, academic achievement, skill mismatch, and labour market aspirations, providing evidence on how educational policies shape human capital development and workforce readiness.
