Qualification objectives:
Students are familiar with modern methods of empirical economic analysis at the current state of international research. Using current specialist literature, they can select econometric models and methods and apply them to independently answer questions of their own choosing. They are able to critically reflect on the assumptions and limitations of the models and methods used. They are able to reproduce the state of scientific discussion and their own results in writing. In doing so, they are able to critically reflect on the assumptions and limitations of the models and methods used. Contents:
Methods of modern econometric analysis, e.g., microeconometrics, time series econometrics, panel data analysis, ex-post policy evaluation.
