Qualification goals:
Students have a systematic overview of the processes, structures, functions and institutions of management. They will be able to recognize these in theory and practice and assess their significance. In addition, students are able to develop appropriate solutions for current problems related to management. Furthermore, students are able to assess the content they have learned individually, make competent decisions within expertise teams and convince others in groups.
Contents:
In the module, students deal with tasks and skills in management, the development of management and management research, markets and competition, company performance and business models, shareholder and stakeholder approaches, organizational design of management, corporate governance, international management, human resource management, leadership and motivation in management, creativity and innovation in management as well as ethics and social responsibility.
