Course Eligibility and Application

This course is restricted to exchange students enrolled in one of the following Masters of Science at the School of Business and Economics of FU Berlin:

  • Master of Science in Management & Marketing (M&M)
  • Master of Science in Finance, Accounting, Taxation & Supplements (FACTS)
  • Master of Science in Business Information Systems (Wirtschaftsinformatik)

Only the permanent students of the Master of Science in Management & Marketing, who are in their third semester of the program but do not go abroad, are also eligible to take this course. To apply for it, please send an email with your name and student ID to Ruben Anders no later than Tuesday, October 14th, 2025.

Learning objectives:
Students understand important theories of management. They can reflect on methodological preconditions and paradigms of theories. They are able to apply theory to complex case studies. They are able to make decisions based on theoretical concepts and excogitate potential impacts for the surrounding environment. They can develop solutions to specific issues in teams and present their results. They have skills to connect fields of knowledge about management to issues of business administration and marketing.

- Theories of organisation and/or
- Theories of strategy and/or
- Theories of human resource management and/or
- Theories of organizational learning and/or
- Theories of innovation management
