Research Interests

I have a strong interest in macro-organizational phenomena, among others for questions of discursive change and stability, path dependence, and the politics of corporate social responsibility. During my PhD I looked from a historical perspective at how business, state and civil-society actors discursively construct and negotiate the meaning and motives for corporate social responsibility. My current research revolves around the governance of global production networks – with a focus on social standards.
