Business model innovation: Overcoming the barriers to the diffusion of advanced ICT systems and integrated care services“ (gefördert durch die Focus Area (Exzellenzinitiative II): „DynAge“)
Human aging is a challenge for many health care systems. For instance, while we observe a breath taking surge of chronic diseases in many countries we also observe that health care systems are surprisingly ill-equipped to answer to this challenge. This project proposes that health care providers can explore the disruptive potential of information technology to improve care delivery by pooling information technology with business models, which are adapted to the idiosyncrasies of health care.
