Im Sommersemester 2022 wird das Modul Organisationsforschung parallel an der Professur für Organisation und an der Professur für Personalpolitik angeboten. Wir bitten Studierende ausdrücklich sich NICHT parallel für beide Kurse zu bewerben.  Bitte bewerben Sie sich nur für ihre erste Präferenz.  Falls wir Studierende in diesem Modul keinen Platz anbieten können, informieren wir Sie über noch freie Plätze im anderen Forschungsseminar.

Course Contents

This module provides an introduction to research in management and organizational behavior. Throughout the course, we will discuss fundamental questions and theories of this field of research. To understand how these theoretical questions can be explored based on empirical research, we will discuss different quantitative and qualitative research methods. Based on this, you will develop your own research project proposal, which you will present in class.

The module will be taught in English. The group presentations will be done in English. The seminar papers can be written in either English or German. Participation is mandatory.

Examination

The examination for this module will consist of a group presentation and discussion together with a written thesis of 10-15 pages.
