Guidelines for Submitting Your Application for a Bachelor's Thesis via Email

Please submit your application for a bachelor's thesis via email until further notice to:

Please note the following:

• Use your official Zedat email address as the sender's address for your email.
• Send an email only to your first priority. Rest assured that if we have no available capacities, we will promptly forward your application.
• Ensure that your email attachments do not exceed the usual file sizes to ensure your email reaches us.

Application Deadlines for a Bachelor's Thesis at the Marketing-Department

• Summer Semester: until April 15
• Winter Semester: until October 15

Required Documents

For the application, please submit the following documents and information:

• the completed and signed registration form for your bachelor’s thesis (the form does not need to be checked in advance by the Examination Office, but can be submitted directly to us),
• a current transcript of records (a printout from Campus Management is sufficient),
• the preferred language of your bachelor’s thesis (English/German).

We explicitly ask you not to submit a motivation letter.

Requirements

Good knowledge of English is required for the application. In addition, the ability to work with English-language academic literature is necessary. Students who are accepted for supervision will receive confirmation by email after the application deadline. Applications that are not accepted will be forwarded to the next department listed in the priority ranking.

Important note for students applying to the Master’s program in Management und Marketing at FU Berlin: For the application you will need your completed (graded or ungraded) bachelor’s thesis or a comparable academic paper (e.g., a seminar paper). It is therefore recommended to register for the bachelor’s thesis in good time or to apply early for a suitable seminar slot.
